Wind increasing to southeast 20 to 30 near midnight except southeast 25 to 35 northwest of Estevan Point overnight. Wind becoming southeast 25 to 35 Monday morning except southeast 40 northwest of Estevan Point. Wind becoming southeast 15 to 25 Monday evening.

Rain beginning this evening changing to showers Monday morning.

Haida Gwaii.
By 10:00 p.m. PST tonight ridge located over BC interior.

At 10:00 a.m. PST today frontal system located west of the offshore
waters.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Monday frontal system located over the offshore
waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:04 AM PST 5 December 2021 A Pacific frontal system will approach the offshore waters late this
afternoon and then lie over the offshore waters overnight. Ahead of
the front, gale force southeast winds will develop over the offshore
waters this afternoon and then over central waters and west of Haida
Gwaii and Vancouver Island tonight.
