Issued 9:30 PM PDT 12 April 2026 Tonight and Monday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight ridge from high located on a line
northeast-southwest over central Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Monday weakening ridge from high located on a
line north-south over the Central Coast.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Monday cold front located on a line east-west
over northern Haida Gwaii.
By midnight PDT Monday cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over southern Hecate Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:11 PM PDT 12 April 2026 A ridge axis over Northern Haida Gwaii is slowly moving south
Tonight and Monday. Northwesterly winds off the west coast Vancouver
Island will strengthen to marginal gale force wind late this evening
and then ease overnight.

Marginal southwest gales will develop over central waters late Monday
evening ahead of a cold front.
