Issued 9:30 PM PDT 15 May 2021 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over the
Central Coast to Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:22 PM PDT 15 May 2021 A quasi-stationary ridge of high pressure is located over Explorer
and Queen Charlotte Sound. East of the ridge, gale force
northwesterlies have redeveloped over West Coast Vancouver Island
South this evening. The gales will ease to strong northwesterly
overnight.

Strong to gale force inflow winds are expected for eastern portions
of Juan de Fuca Strait on Sunday evening, lasting into the overnight
hours.
