By 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday trough located over central BC interior.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today low 987 mb located over the Gulf of Alaska.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Saturday low 1000 mb located over the northern
Gulf of Alaska.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:39 PM PDT 16 October 2026 A trough of low pressure over Explorer will reach the Central Coast
overnight. Gale force southerlies ahead of the trough over the
central waters will veer to strong to gale force westerlies in its
wake tonight. Winds will ease to moderate to strong westerlies early
Saturday morning.
