Issued 9:30 PM PST 15 January 2018 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over
BC interior.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight frontal system located over the offshore
waters.
By 1:00 a.m. PST Tuesday dissipating frontal system located on a
line northwest-southeast over Hecate Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:28 PM PST 15 January 2018 An Arctic ridge will remain over the BC Interior tonight
Producing strong to gale force outflow winds through the mainland
inlets.

A strong frontal system over Hecate Strait is giving strong to gale
force southeasterlies for most northern waters. Gale force
southeasterlies will diminish over Hecate Strait after midnight, but
will persist for Bowie through Tuesday afternoon.
