Issued 10:30 AM PDT 20 September 2021 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today ridge located over Vancouver.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday ridge located over southern BC interior.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today frontal system located over Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Central Coast.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Tuesday weakening frontal system located on a
line northeast-southwest over Cape Scott.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:28 AM PDT 20 September 2021 A frontal system over Southern Haida Gwaii this morning will progress
to central waters this evening, then reach the northern
Tip of Northern Vancouver Island Tuesday afternoon. The front will
significantly weaken on Tuesday and cross the South Coast with
Little rise in winds.

Gale to storm force southeast winds are occurring along the front.
In the wake of the front, the winds will shift to strong to gale
force southwesterlies. On Tuesday behind the front, winds will shift
to moderate northwesterlies.
