southeastern Explorer.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today ridge located over the offshore waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Friday ridge located west of Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:47 AM PDT 23 May 2024 A ridge of high pressure building over offshore waters tonight will
shift eastward to lie just west of Haida Gwaii on Friday afternoon.
Strong northwesterly winds developing ahead of the ridge will rise to
northwest gales over waters west of Vancouver Island on Friday
evening.
