Issued 4:00 PM PDT 15 March 2026 Tonight and Monday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today warm front located over Haida Gwaii.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight departing warm front located over the
North Coast.

At 11:00 p.m. PDT tonight weakening cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over southern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Monday quasi-stationary frontal system located
on a line northeast-southwest over northwestern Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:28 PM PDT 15 March 2026 An intense warm front is generating southeast storm to hurricane
force winds to northern and central waters.

As the warm front passes this evening, hurricane force
southeasterlies from the headlands of Vancouver Island to Hecate
Strait will ease. Winds will then veer to southwest gales over the
northern and central waters tonight.

Southeast gales over Northern Strait of Georgia will persist through
Monday.

A quasi-stationary front will set up on Monday over the central
waters with southwesterly gales over southern waters and strong
westerlies over northern waters.
