line northeast-southwest over southern Vancouver Island.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight building ridge located over the offshore
waters.

Issued 3:26 PM PDT 8 July 2025 A ridge of high pressure will rebuild offshore on Wednesday. Westerlywinds through central and eastern sections of Juan de Fuca Strait
will rise to marginal gales late Wednesday as the ridge strengthens.
