northwest-southeast over Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today departing frontal system located from Prince
Rupert to Cape Scott.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today frontal system located west of Explorer.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Sunday frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Vancouver Island.

At 1:00 a.m. PST Sunday trough located over Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Sunday weakening trough located near Prince Rupert.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:26 AM PST 16 November 2019 A Pacific frontal system will cross the Hecate Strait this afternoon.
Gale to storm force southerly winds ahead of the front will shift to
strong to gale force southwesterlies in its wake.

Gale force southwesterlies will persist over most areas tonight
And Sunday as a second and third system move onto the coast. Winds
will ease on Sunday afternoon as a ridge of high pressure builds
behind the systems.
