Rain changing to showers this evening then to rain Saturday afternoon.

Issued 4:00 PM PST 14 December 2018 Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 p.m. PST today departing frontal system located on a line
north-south over southern Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today ridge located over the offshore waters.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Saturday departing ridge located over the South

At 4:00 a.m. PST Saturday frontal system located west of the
offshore waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Saturday frontal system located from the Alaska
panhandle to Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:49 PM PST 14 December 2018 A frontal system on a line north-south over Southern Vancouver Island
this afternoon will depart into the British Columbia Interior early
this evening.

Over northern and central waters, strong to gale force northwesterly
winds will ease to light to moderate westerly this evening.
Over southern waters, gale force southeast winds ahead of the front
will shift to strong to gale force westerlies in the wake of the
frontal passage.

Another intense frontal system will approach the offshore waters
tonight then move onto the mainland coast on Saturday. Widespread
gale to storm force southeast winds will be generated ahead of the
front with hurricane force winds over parts of the northern and
central waters.
