Issued 4:00 AM PDT 17 October 2026 Today Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today low located over the Gulf of Alaska.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday weakening low located over the northern
Gulf of Alaska.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Vancouver Island.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT Sunday quasi-stationary low 1006 mb located west
of Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:49 AM PDT 17 October 2026 An slowly weakening area of low pressure will reside over the Gulf Of
Alaska through to Sunday morning. Strong to gale force westerlies
over northern offshore waters, central waters and waters west of
Northern Vancouver Island will diminish through the morning.

An area of low pressure stalls east of Explorer on Sunday before
drifting southwards Sunday night.
