Issued 10:30 AM PST 24 November 2020 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:30 a.m. PST today cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over Vancouver Island.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today departing cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Lower Mainland.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today low 986 mb located over the Gulf of Alaska.
By 10:30 p.m. PST tonight low 1001 mb located over Hecate Strait.

At 4:00 p.m. PST Wednesday approaching frontal system located west
of Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:19 AM PST 24 November 2020 A cold front moving southwards across Vancouver Island will continue
to spread strong to gale force southeasterly winds over southern
waters until early this afternoon. The winds will shift to strong to
gale force westerlies in wake of the front.

The associated low over the Gulf of Alaska will track southwards
across Haida Gwaii this evening. Gale to storm force westerly
Winds will continue over the offshore waters today and tonight
Behind the low. Seas 10 to 13 metres over northern offshore waters
will persist through this evening. Seas will build to 8 to 10 metres
over central waters tonight and gradually weaken on Wednesday
morning.
