Issued 4:00 AM PDT 15 March 2026 Today Tonight and Monday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today intensifying warm front located over theoffshore waters.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight departing warm front located over the
North Coast.
At 11:00 p.m. PDT tonight weakening cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over southern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Monday quasi-stationary frontal system located
on a line northeast-southwest over northwestern Explorer.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:44 AM PDT 15 March 2026 An intensifying warm front is generating southeast gale to stormforce winds over the offshore waters early this morning and will
spread to northern and central waters today. Hurricane force
southeasterlies will develop from the headlands of Vancouver Island
to Hecate Strait this afternoon. Southeast gales will also develop
over Northern Strait of Georgia this afternoon.
As the warm front passes, winds will veer to southwest gales near
noon over the offshore waters and tonight over the northern
And central waters.
A quasi-stationary front will set up on Monday over the central
waters with southwesterly gales over southern waters and
Strong westerlies over northern waters.
