Issued 9:30 PM PST 14 December 2017 Tonight and Friday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight weakening frontal system located on a
line northeast-southwest over Vancouver Island.
By 10:30 a.m. PST Friday weakening frontal system located near
the West Entrance of Juan de Fuca Strait.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight building ridge located over Explorer.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Friday ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Queen Charlotte Sound.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:27 PM PST 14 December 2017 In the wake of a weakening front over Vancouver Island, a ridge of
high pressure will build over the central offshore waters tonight
And Friday. Gale force northwest winds will develop off the west
coast of Vancouver Island on Friday.

An approaching frontal system will spread gale force southwesterly
winds to Bowie Friday evening.
