Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:37 AM PST 27 February 2024 A warm front over Bowie will track across Haida Gwaii today and then
southeastwards across Vancouver Island this evening. Ahead of the
front, gale force southeast winds over Bowie will spread to northern
and central coastal waters this morning as gale to storm force
southeasterlies. In its wake, winds will gradually shift to strong to
gale force westerly today.
The associated cold front will track eastwards across Explorer
tonight and then Vancouver Island on Wednesday. Ahead of the front,
southwest gales will develop over Southern Explorer and west coast
Vancouver Island - south tonight and then shift to strong westerlies
in its wake on Wednesday.
