By 4:00 p.m. PDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Queen Charlotte Sound.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:52 AM PDT 26 September 2018 A quasi-stationary ridge of high pressure will remain over Haida
Gwaii tonight through tomorrow. Gale force northwesterly winds will
develop late this evening over west coast Vancouver Island mainly in
the vicinity of the Brooks Peninsula, and Southern Explorer.
