Issued 4:00 AM PST 2 December 2023 Today Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 a.m. PST today frontal system located over southern
Vancouver Island.
By 6:00 a.m. PST today departing frontal system located over
Vancouver.

At 4:00 a.m. PST today low located over northern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today low located over the southern Alaska
panhandle.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located off the offshore
waters.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Sunday frontal system located from the Alaska
panhandle to Cape Scott.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:47 AM PST 2 December 2023 A frontal system will make its way across the Southern Strait of
Georgia early this morning. Gale force southerlies ahead of the front
will be followed by gale force westerlies through the Juan de Fuca
strait this morning in its wake.

A new low will move across Northern Bowie and onto the Southern
Alaskan Panhandle today. Westerly gales are expected across northern
waters during the day.

Meanwhile another front will approach the offshore waters later this
afternoon. Gale force southeasterlies will develop ahead of the front
in the evening and strengthen further to storms overnight over
northern and central waters. Gales will extend into the inner South
Coast waters overnight. Widespread gale force westerlies are expected
in the wake of the system, with an area of storm force westerlies
expected over the offshore waters on Sunday morning.
