Marine Weather Statement
Issued 10:17 AM PST 16 February 2026 Gale force northwesterlies will continue over the northern, centraland offshore waters today and tonight. Winds will weaken slightly on
Tuesday but northerly gales are forecast to persist over the offshore
waters.
An Arctic high pressure ridge will build over Northern BC this
evening and continue pushing south on Tuesday. Gale force outflow
winds, with a risk of freezing spray, can be expected through the
mainland inlets along the north and Central Coast on Tuesday through
Thursday morning.
