Wind becoming northerly outflow 10 to 20 near midnight then diminishing to light Wednesday morning. Wind increasing to southerly inflow 10 to 20 near noon Wednesday except southwesterly inflow 25 over northern sections.

Rain changing to showers near midnight and ending Wednesday morning.

over the Central Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today trough located on a line north-south over
Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today building ridge located west of Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight ridge located on a line north-south
over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:45 AM PDT 21 May 2024 A trough will dig south towards Vancouver Island today with a
building ridge west of Bowie. This combination will strengthen the
northwesterly winds to gale force across the southern waters late
today and tonight.
