Issued 9:30 PM PST 26 January 2021 Tonight and Wednesday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary ridge located overBC interior.
At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight low located over Explorer.
By 9:30 p.m. PST Wednesday low located off the Washington Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. PST Wednesday intensifying trough located from the
Alaska panhandle to Explorer.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:07 PM PST 26 January 2021 A low pressure system over Explorer will gradually weaken tonightbefore exiting the region Wednesday afternoon. Ahead of the low, gale
to storm force southeasterlies over southern waters will ease
overnight.
A trough of low pressure will develop from the Alaskan Panhandle to
Explorer on Wednesday. Northerly gales will develop over Bowie early
Wednesday morning and ease in the afternoon.
Additionally, a ridge of high pressure will remain over the BC
Interior for a few days. Strong to gale force outflow winds
Will prevail through the mainland inlets of the BC coasts.
