At 4:00 p.m. PST today quasi-stationary ridge located over BC
interior.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 10:27 AM PST 17 February 2026 Gale force north or northwesterlies over the offshore waters willcontinue through late Wednesday.
An Arctic high pressure ridge over Northern BC will continue to push
southwards today. Gale force outflow winds, with the potential of
freezing spray, can be expected through the mainland inlets along the
north and Central Coast from today through Thursday morning. Outflow
winds will periodically reach storm force northeasterlies through the
Central Coast inlets today and Wednesday.
