By 10:30 a.m. PDT Tuesday weakening trough located over Hecate
Strait.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT Tuesday ridge located off Bowie.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Wednesday high located over Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:24 PM PDT 19 May 2025 A centre of low pressure over Haida Gwaii will drift eastward this
evening and reach Hecate Strait Tuesday morning. Northwest gales
Over the offshore waters will ease to strong overnight.

Winds will continue to ease across the BC waters Tuesday night and
Wednesday as an area of high pressure moves over Explorer.
