interior.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located off Bowie.
By 10:00 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary frontal system located
on a line north-south over eastern Bowie.

At 10:00 a.m. PST Monday trough located 120 miles southwest of
Explorer.
By 10:00 p.m. PST Monday approaching trough located 60 miles
southwest of the Outer Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:58 PM PST 10 December 2017 A Pacific frontal system will reach the northern offshore waters
This evening as a deep low pressure system moves northward into the
Western Gulf of Alaska. The system is bringing widespread southeast
gales to the central and northern waters, with storm force winds
Over the northern offshore waters and off Northern Haida Gwaii.

The front will stall and weaken in a north to south line just off
Haida Gwaii tonight, leading to winds easing off to marginal gale
force over most of the central and northern waters by early Monday
morning. The front is then forecast to intensify somewhat on Monday
night as it finally makes its way through the coast, with strong to
gale force southeasterlies expected ahead of the frontal passage
until early Tuesday morning.
