Wind becoming westerly 5 to 15 overnight then becoming southeast 10 to 20 near noon Tuesday except southeast 20 to 30 northwest of Estevan Point Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Issued 4:00 AM PST 1 March 2021 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. PST today cold front located on a linenortheast-southwest over northern Vancouver Island.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today departing cold front located over southern
Vancouver Island.
At 4:00 p.m. PST today cold front located off Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Tuesday weakening cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Vancouver Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:38 AM PST 1 March 2021 A cold front over the Central Coast will slowly weaken and tracksouthwards across Vancouver Island today. Strong to gale force
southerlies ahead of the front will shift to moderate to strong
northwest in its wake.
Another approaching cold front will track across Haida Gwaii tonight
then slide south along the mainland coast to lie over north
Vancouver Island Tuesday afternoon. Ahead of the front, southwesterly
gales will develop over Bowie this afternoon then spread to northern
waters tonight and central waters Tuesday morning. In its wake the
winds ease and shift to strong westerly.
