Issued 4:00 PM PST 4 December 2024 Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located west of the offshorewaters.
By 10:30 a.m. PST Thursday departing frontal system located on a
line north-south over the North Coast.
At 10:30 a.m. PST Thursday frontal system located west of the
offshore waters.
By 9:30 p.m. PST Thursday frontal system located on a line
north-south over the offshore waters.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:50 PM PST 4 December 2024 Areas of fog will persist in the Georgia basin tonight. The fog isexpected to lift through the day on Friday.
A Pacific frontal system will cross northern and central waters
tonight. Strong to gale force southeasterly winds can be expected
ahead of this system.
Another frontal system will approach the region later in the day on
Thursday with gale force southeasterly winds expected across the
majority of outer-coastal waters. Localized areas of storm force
southeasterlies are possible from Hecate Strait to the headlands of
Vancouver Island Thursday night.
