Wind southeast 35 to 45 knots increasing to southeast 45 to 55 near midnight then becoming southeast 50 to 60 early Sunday morning except southeast 70 near the headlands. Wind diminishing to south 35 Sunday afternoon and to southwest 30 early Sunday evening.

Periods of rain overnight and Sunday. Visibility 1 mile or less in rain.

waters.
By 1:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located from Haida Gwaii to
Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today trough located from Bowie to Explorer.
By 10:00 p.m. PST tonight trough located north of Bowie.

At 10:00 a.m. PST Monday deepening low 986 mb located southwest
of Bowie.
By 10:00 p.m. PST Monday low 976 mb located north of Bowie.

At 4:00 p.m. PST Monday approaching low 976 mb located southwest
of Explorer.

Issued 9:12 PM PST 21 December 2024 Another frontal system is approaching the offshore waters and
Will move across the marine regions on Sunday. Storm to hurricane
force southeasterlies will develop ahead of this system with
southeast gales developing over the inner South Coast. This system
will bring gale to storm force southwesterlies in its wake Sunday
night over the northern waters.
