By 4:00 p.m. PDT Friday departing trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Haida Gwaii.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 10:15 AM PDT 9 July 2020 An approaching trough of low pressure will track across the offshore
waters Friday morning and Haida Gwaii in the afternoon, before
exiting the region Friday evening. Ahead of the trough, southerly
gales will develop over central waters Friday morning and gradually
ease in the evening.
