Wind becoming southeast 10 to 20 early this afternoon then becoming variable 5 to 15 early this evening. Wind becoming northwest 10 to 20 after midnight except northwest 20 to 30 offshore Tuesday morning. Wind becoming northwest 20 to 30 near noon Tuesday.

Showers ending this afternoon. Scattered showers Tuesday afternoon and evening. Fog patches forming overnight and dissipating Tuesday morning. Visibility as low as 1 mile in showers and 1 mile or less in fog patches.

Issued 4:00 AM PDT 31 March 2025 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today low located over northwestern Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today departing low located south of Explorer.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today building ridge located northwest of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today building ridge located west of the offshore
waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:48 AM PDT 31 March 2025 A low over Southwestern Explorer brings strong southeasterly winds to
the southern waters today.

A ridge building northwest of Bowie generates northerly marginal
gales to the northern waters west of Haida Gwaii today and into this
evening.

On Tuesday, as the ridge continues to build offshore, westerly
marginal gales will develop through Juan de Fuca Strait during the
afternoon to evening period.
