Wind southeast 20 to 30 knots becoming north 25 to 35 early this evening except southeast 15 to 25 over southern sections. Wind becoming northwest 20 to 30 late overnight then diminishing to northwest 10 to 20 Thursday evening.

Showers changing to rain this afternoon and ending near noon Thursday. Fog patches dissipating near noon. Visibility 1 mile or less in fog patches and as low as 1 mile in rain.

Issued 10:30 AM PST 12 November 2025 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:30 a.m. PST today frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Explorer.
By 10:00 a.m. PST Thursday departing frontal system located on a
line northeast-southwest over southern Vancouver Island.

At 10:00 p.m. PST tonight ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Queen Charlotte Sound.

At 1:00 p.m. PST Thursday approaching frontal system located west
of the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:23 AM PST 12 November 2025 A low pressure system moves into Explorer today and then onto
Vancouver Island tonight. Over the central and southern outer coastal
waters, southeasterly marginal gales will develop ahead of the low,
while northerly gales are expected in the wake of the low.

The system will track southeastward across the South Coast on
Thursday. Northwesterly gales over central and southern waters will
ease as the system moves inland late Thursday afternoon.
