Issued 9:30 PM PST 4 March 2024 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over
northern BC interior.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PST Tuesday ridge located from the Central Coast
to Explorer.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Tuesday trough located off Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PST Tuesday approaching trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:10 PM PST 4 March 2024 A ridge of high pressure over the interior will continue to give
strong to gale force outflow winds to mainland inlets of the north
and central coasts tonight and Tuesday morning.

These outflow winds combined with cold temperatures will generate
freezing spray in Douglas Channel overnight and Tuesday morning.

On Tuesday, a trough will approach the offshore waters from the west.
Ahead of the trough, strong to gale force southerlies strong to gale
force southerlies will develop over Bowie late Tuesday.
