At 4:00 p.m. PST today low 978 mb located off Bowie.
By 10:00 a.m. PST Saturday dissipating low 978 mb located northwest
of Bowie.
At 4:00 a.m. PST Saturday frontal system located off Explorer.
By 1:00 p.m. PST Saturday departing frontal system located over
southern Vancouver Island.

Issued 3:49 PM PST 21 February 2025 A frontal system is tracking through the central coastal waters.Ahead of the front, gale force southeasterlies are occurring. In its
wake, winds will gradually ease to strong to gale force
southwesterlies.
Another frontal system will track across the offshore waters Saturday
morning and onto the mainland coast in the afternoon. Ahead of the
front, gale force southeasterlies will develop over the offshore
waters overnight and then spread to southern and central waters
Saturday morning. In its wake, winds will ease to strong to gale
force southwest.
