Wind diminishing to light early this evening then increasing to southeast 10 to 15 after midnight. Wind increasing to southeast 15 to 25 Monday morning.

Issued 4:00 AM PDT 20 October 2019 Today Tonight and Monday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today frontal system located from Haida Gwaii
to Explorer.
By 2:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located over southern
Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today low located over northern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today weakening low located over Haida Gwaii.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Monday low located west of the offshore waters.
By 2:00 p.m. PDT Monday departing low located over Queen Charlotte
Sound.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:00 AM PDT 20 October 2019 A frontal system will cross Hecate Strait and central waters early
this morning and the South Coast this afternoon. Gale force southeast
winds will accompany the front then switch to gale force westerlies
in its wake.

The next low pressure system moves across offshore waters Monday
morning and makes landfall on the Central Coast by late Monday
afternoon. Gale force southeast winds ahead of the low will switch to
gale force westerlies in behind.
