Issued 9:26 PM PDT 16 June 2026 A strong marine push is generating strong to gale force westerliesthrough Juan de Fuca Strait. These gale force winds will diminish
overnight.
Strong to gale force northwesterlies through Johnstone Strait this
evening will diminish overnight but are expected again Wednesday
evening.
A building ridge of high pressure offshore will generate northwest
gale force winds south of the Brooks Peninsula through the remainder
of this week.
