Issued 10:22 AM PDT 12 August 2026 Ahead of a ridge of high pressure, gale force northwesterlies will
develop later today off the west coast of Vancouver Island, south of
the Brooks Peninsula. Winds will gradually ease overnight to moderate
to strong northwest.
