Issued 4:03 PM PST 26 February 2021 A ridge of high pressure parked in the Eastern Pacific ocean willmaintain widespread gale force northwest winds across most
Southern BC marine waters tonight.
Gale force northwest winds will continue across southern waters and
tonight, gradually easing after midnight.
Late in the day on Saturday, a frontal system will approach Haida
Gwaii. Strong to gale force southwesterly winds expected over
northern offshore waters on Saturday evening and will spread to the
North Coast Saturday night.
