Issued 4:00 AM PST 25 January 2020 Today Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 a.m. PST today low located west of the offshore waters.
By 10:00 a.m. PST today departing low located northwest of Haida
Gwaii.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today trough located west of the offshore waters.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Sunday departing trough located from Hecate Strait
to Queen Charlotte Sound.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Sunday low located west of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Sunday departing low located northwest of Haida
Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:50 AM PST 25 January 2020 A low pressure system is passing through the offshore waters
Then through the northern coastal waters this morning. Gale force
southerly winds will prevail over most central and northern waters
ahead of the low. The winds will become strong to gale force
southwesterlies in the wake of the low later this morning.

A trough of low pressure will cross northern and central waters
Saturday night bringing gale force southerly winds to the region.

Another low pressure system will track through the northern waters on
Sunday. Ahead of the low, strong to gale force southerly winds will
develop over most northern waters. Winds will become strong to gale
force westerlies in its wake.
