Issued 9:30 PM PDT 23 October 2018 Tonight and Wednesday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located over Vancouver
Island.
By 11:00 p.m. PDT tonight departing frontal system located over
the Lower Mainland.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight deepening low 974 mb located west of the
offshore waters.
By 8:00 p.m. PDT Wednesday low 962 mb located 240 miles west
of Langara.

At 5:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday frontal system located west of the
offshore waters.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Wednesday approaching frontal system located from
Haida Gwaii to Queen Charlotte Sound then to Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:21 PM PDT 23 October 2018 A frontal system located over Vancouver Island will move through the
inner South Coast this evening. Strong to gale force southeasterlies
ahead of the front will shift to moderate to strong westerlies behind
it.

On Wednesday, a deep low and a much more intense front will be
affecting the coast. The system will bring widespread storm force
winds through all the northern and central waters with wind speeds
approaching hurricane force in many areas. Over the far south, the
system will bring strong to gale force southeast winds by Wednesday
evening.
