By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight weakening ridge located from Langara
to Explorer.
At 4:00 p.m. PDT Saturday ridge located over southwestern Explorer.

Issued 10:16 AM PDT 7 August 2026 Over the Juan de Fuca strait, westerly inflow winds will follow adiurnal trend of strengthening in the afternoon and easing in the
morning. Westerlies are expected to reach gale force Saturday late
afternoon before weakening Sunday morning.
