Issued 4:00 PM PDT 11 March 2025 Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today deepening low 993 mb located over southern
Explorer.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday departing low 985 mb located over
northern Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday ridge located west of the offshore
waters.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT Wednesday weakening ridge located west of the
offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:01 PM PDT 11 March 2025 An approaching low pressure centre will track northwards across
Southern Explorer and each Northern Vancouver Island later tonight.
The low will then weaken as it moves inland on Wednesday.

Ahead of the low, southerly gales will develop this evening over west
coast Vancouver Island then ease overnight. Strong to gale force
southeasterly winds are also expected for the Northern Strait of
Georgia overnight.

Winds should fall below gale force early Wednesday morning.
