Issued 9:30 PM PST 23 November 2020 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight departing warm front located on a line
north-south over the Central Coast.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight cold front located over Queen Charlotte
Sound extending southwestward.
By 10:30 a.m. PST Tuesday departing cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over southern Vancouver Island.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight low 971 mb located over the Gulf of Alaska.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Tuesday low 994 mb located over Langara.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:23 PM PST 23 November 2020 A warm front over East Queen Charlotte Sound will move inland
overnight. Gale to storm force southeasterlies ahead of the front
will shift to gale to storm force westerly in its wake.

The trailing cold front will track southwards across Vancouver Island
on Tuesday. Ahead of the front, gale force southeasterlies will
develop over South Coast waters Tuesday morning and shift to strong
to gale force westerly in its wake.

The associated low over the Gulf of Alaska will track southwards
across Haida Gwaii Tuesday evening. Storm force westerlies in its
wake will generate seas 10 to 13 metres over Bowie late this evening
then spread to west coast Haida Gwaii and Dixon Entrance West
overnight. Seas will build to 8 to 10 metres over central waters on
Tuesday morning and to 6 to 8 metres over west coast Vancouver Island
on Tuesday afternoon.
