Wind southerly 25 to 35 knots backing to southeast 35 to 45 early this morning then increasing to southeast 45 to 60 late this morning. Wind diminishing to southwest 35 to 45 late this afternoon except southwest 50 over northern sections this evening. Wind becoming southwest 25 to 35 late overnight then increasing to southwest 35 to 45 Tuesday evening.
Periods of rain. Risk of thunderstorms tonight and Tuesday.

Hurricane force winds are forecast this afternoon for the
Headlands of West Vancouver Island North.
In the wake of the frontal system a low will move over Bowie this
evening. Storm force southerlies will develop this evening and
tonight across northern and central waters.
