By 10:30 a.m. PST Sunday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over central Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:07 AM PST 24 February 2024 A trough will develop in Bowie this afternoon. This trough
Will move into southern waters by Sunday. Northwesterly gales will
spread into northern waters this afternoon, into central waters
tonight and then into southern waters on Sunday. A brief period of
storm force northwesterly winds are very likely over Dixon Entrance
and Bowie on Sunday morning.
