Issued 4:00 PM PDT 16 October 2019 Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located from Haida Gwaii
to Explorer.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Thursday departing frontal system located over
Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today low located over Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight departing low located west of Haida Gwaii.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Thursday trough located west of the offshore
waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Thursday trough located from Hecate Strait to
Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:54 PM PDT 16 October 2019 A front stretching from Haida Gwaii to Explorer late this afternoon
will move over Vancouver Island early Thursday morning. The front
will then cross the South Coast mainland midday Thursday. Gale force
southeast winds will be generated ahead of the front then shifting to
strong to gale force westerlies in its wake.

On Thursday, an intense trough will cross into most marine waters
bringing strong to gale force southerlies. Gale to storm force
westerlies are expected in its wake.
