Wind southeast 25 to 35 knots except southeast 40 over southwestern sections late this afternoon and this evening. Wind becoming southeast 15 to 25 early Sunday morning then diminishing to variable 5 to 15 late Sunday morning. Wind becoming northeast 10 to 20 Sunday afternoon.

Rain beginning this afternoon changing to scattered showers Sunday morning and ending near noon Sunday. Visibility as low as 1 mile in precipitation.

Issued 10:30 AM PDT 18 April 2026 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today frontal system located west of Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located from Haida Gwaii
to Explorer.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday weakening frontal system located from Cape
St. James to Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday departing trough located southwest of
Explorer.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday building ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Alaska panhandle.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:21 AM PDT 18 April 2026 A frontal system crossing the offshore waters today will bring
southeasterly gales to most marine regions except the inner South
Coast.

As the system stalls and weakens tonight, southeasterly gales will
gradually ease overnight into early Sunday morning.
