Issued 4:00 AM PST 21 January 2020 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 a.m. PST today weakening frontal system located from Haida
Gwaii to Victoria.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today trough located on a line northwest-southeast
over the offshore waters.
By 9:30 p.m. PST tonight weakening trough located from Bowie
to Victoria.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Wednesday frontal system located off Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Wednesday frontal system located from Haida Gwaii
to Tofino.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:39 AM PST 21 January 2020 A frontal system off the mainland coast will weaken as it tracks
inland this morning. Ahead of the front, gale force southeasterlies
will ease to moderate to strong southerlies.

A trough will move across Explorer this morning and Vancouver Island
in the evening. In its wake, strong to gale force southwesterlies
will develop this morning over Explorer and spread to West Coast
Vancouver Island South this afternoon.

Another frontal system will move across the offshore waters Wednesday
morning and lie across Queen Charlotte Sound by the afternoon.
Ahead of the front, gale force southeasterlies will develop over the
offshore and central waters Wednesday morning, then spread to
northern and southern waters in the afternoon.
