Wind southeast 30 to 40 knots diminishing to southeast 15 to 25 early this morning then increasing to southeast 25 to 35 late this afternoon. Wind increasing to south 40 to 50 late this evening and to southeast 55 to 65 near midnight. Wind diminishing to southwest 35 to 45 overnight then becoming southwest 35 Wednesday morning. Wind diminishing to southwest 25 Wednesday afternoon.

Issued 4:00 AM PST 28 January 2020 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 a.m. PST today low located near Explorer.
By 10:00 a.m. PST today weakening low located over the Washington
Coast.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located west of Bowie.
By 1:00 a.m. PST Wednesday departing frontal system located on a
line north-south over the North Coast.

At 4:00 p.m. PST Wednesday frontal system located near the offshore
waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:59 AM PST 28 January 2020 A low pressure center near Explorer will continue to spread
northwesterlies to Southern Explorer this morning.

Another intense frontal system will track across the offshore waters
this afternoon and onto the North Coast overnight. Ahead of the
system, storm force southeasterlies will develop over the northern
and central waters late today. A short period of hurricane force
southeasterlies is expected over the North Coast overnight. In its
wake, winds will veer to gale to storm force southwesterlies.

A third system will approach the offshore waters late Wednesday
bringing gale to storm force southerlies to the northern waters
Wednesday evening.
