By 9:30 p.m. PST Friday deepening low 980 mb located over
southeastern Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:26 PM PST 12 December 2024 A low pressure system will approach exploreer on Friday and
Slowly move to the B.C. Interior on Saturday afternoon.

Over the southern and central waters, gale to storm force southeast
winds will develop ahead of the low and gale to storm force north
winds will develop behind the low. For the inner South Coast
Waters, gale force southeast winds will develop on Friday afternoon
and persist to Saturday afternoon.
