Issued 10:30 AM PDT 31 October 2026 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today quasi-stationary ridge located over BC
interior.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today frontal system located over western Bowie.
By 11:00 a.m. PST Sunday frontal system located over Hecate Strait.

At 11:00 a.m. PST Sunday approaching frontal system located south
of Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:22 AM PDT 31 October 2026 A frontal system just moving into Bowie late this morning will cross
the region tonight. Ahead of the front, southerly gales over
Bowie will spread to the west coast of Haida Gwaii this afternoon.

The front will strengthen and cross Haida Gwaii on Sunday. Gale to
storm force southeasterly winds will develop over the northern
Waters and gale force southeasterly winds over central waters on
Sunday.

Another frontal system will approach from the southwest Sunday
afternoon which will intensify the southeast winds over the central
waters to storm force by Sunday night.
