By 4:00 p.m. PST Wednesday frontal system located on a line
north-south over Hecate Strait.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:10 PM PST 14 January 2025 In the wake of a front, strong to gale force southerlies willcontinue tonight over central coastal waters.
An approaching frontal system will track across the offshore waters
on Wednesday and onto the North Coast in the evening. Ahead of the
front, gale force southerlies will develop over the offshore waters
overnight and then spread to northern and central waters Wednesday
morning as gale to storm force. In its wake, winds will gradually
shift to strong to gale force westerly Wednesday through Wednesday
night.
