Issued 4:00 PM PDT 12 July 2024 Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today quasi-stationary ridge located from Explorer
to the North Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:55 PM PDT 12 July 2024 A ridge of high pressure offshore will continue to generate strong to
gale force northwesterly winds throughout the southern waters tonight
and Saturday.

Northwest gales through Johnstone Strait will weaken tonight and
redevelop Saturday afternoon.

An extended period of northwesterly gale force winds will continue
over west coast Vancouver Island and persist through Saturday.
