Issued 4:00 AM PDT 17 July 2024 Today Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 3:30 p.m. PDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today low located over western Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today departing low located over the Alaska
panhandle.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today cold front from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over Bowie.
By midnight PDT tonight cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:53 AM PDT 17 July 2024 A low pressure system offshore will move through Western Bowie this
morning and reach the Alaskan Panhandle this afternoon. Strong to
gale force southeasterly winds can be expected ahead of the low, and
strong to gale force northwesterly winds in its wake through this
morning.

Late Wednesday afternoon, strong to gale force westerly winds will
develop through Juan de Fuca Strait ahead of the ridge moving into
Southeastern Explorer.
